I hope you all are doing well, staying home, and staying safe using social distancing. Although we are learning new things like social distancing, we also have an opportunity to take time to be creative. I am here to help you. My online shop and I are available for you,
I am sorry that in-person contact is not available to us. Please disregard the the post last Friday, March 27 about Craft Night. As with other in-person crafting events it has been cancelled. However, please look for future opportunities on my EVENTS page once our Stay-At-Home order has been removed.
Also, I wanted to share a message I received from Stampin’ Up! about their response to COVID-19. I love working with a Company that thinks beyond the bottom line and cares for the people involved through their Company.
Together, we are facing unprecedented circumstances with a global pandemic impacting all aspects of how we live and work. Our greatest concern is for the Stampin’ Up! family around the world including our demonstrators, employees, customers, and suppliers. We want you to know that we are here for you. In times of uncertainty, connection is more important than ever. With that in mind, we want to share what we are doing to navigate this situation.
Supporting our demonstrators is at the heart of every decision we make. We know that being able to manufacture and ship the products you and your customers order is mission critical. To that end, we have worked to ensure we are set up to maintain production and shipping. Our warehouses in all markets are open for business (at the time this email was sent). We are still manufacturing products to support our current and future catalogs.
Beyond the operational side of our business, our sales division has been working with demonstrator leaders around the world to identify the most crucial ways Stampin’ Up! can help demonstrators minimize impact to their businesses. In addition to providing support for running your demonstratorship in a world where most in-person contact is limited, we are also looking for ways to increase our connection and keep our community engaged and supported. You will see the results of this work in the coming weeks.
For our employees, we have implemented a global COVID-19 plan based on guidelines and recommendations from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, and local governments. We are doing our part to stop the spread of the coronavirus:
-
- Many employees are telecommuting, including many from Demonstrator Support
- We are practicing social distancing in a few ways:
- Employees whose jobs cannot be done outside of the office have been relocated to new workstations and are physically separated from others
- Administrative employees have been assigned building entrances, restrooms, days they can come into the office, etc.
- Our manufacturing and distribution employees are working alternating days and shifts, which allows them to work at safe distances from each other while fulfilling orders
- Employees must stay home if they are not feeling well in any way
- We have increased sanitization practices throughout our facilities and at all our workstations
Our goal is to keep you informed. We will continue to communicate primarily through weekly and current updates—so please check in often. We will also utilize other channels, such as email and Facebook, to connect with you. And, as always, if you have individual questions, please call or email our Demonstrator Support team. You can reach them by phone at 1-800-STAMP UP (1-800-782-6787), or email them at ds@stampinup.com.
These past few weeks are a reminder of just how closely we are all connected. Let’s continue to work together, encourage each other, and look for (and help others find) the positive in the world around us.
